Amanda Hope Grogan and Jason Robert Corbett, both of Cope, S.C., proudly announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allan (Mary Claire) Grogan of Cope. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hollis (Mary Hope) Traxler of Cope and the late Mr. and Mrs. James (Evalee) Grogan of Rock Hill, S.C.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. Robert Stokes Corbett of Orangeburg, S.C. and the late Mrs. Wanda Edgemon Corbett. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin (Betty) Edgemon Orangeburg and the late Rev. and Mrs. Lynn (Hazel) Corbett of Orangeburg.

Miss Grogan is a 1998 graduate of Rock Hill High School. She is currently employed as a Veterinary Tech by Bamberg Veterinary Clinic.

Mr. Corbett is a 2001 graduate of Orangeburg Christian Academy. He is currently employed as an Alarm System Tech with Orangeburg Security Systems.

The wedding is planned for September 26, 2009, at Union United Methodist Church in Cope.
