'You're Worth It' health program set for Saturday

Reproductive health will be the focus of a special event designed for young people 11 to 25 years old on Saturday.

"You're Worth It," sponsored by St. Paul Baptist Church, Low Country Healthy Start, USC/Claflin Center of Excellence and Life Support Inc., will be held at 10 a.m. July 18 at St. Paul Baptist Church, 760 Windsor St., in Orangeburg. Topics of discussion will include human papillomavirus (HPV) and other sexually transmitted infections, "Do I Know My Body?" and "Youth Reproductive Health."

Speakers will include Tiffany Stewart, Karen Clinton, Delois Daniels and Stan Wardlaw. Door prizes, gospel singing and a cookout are planned as part of the day's activities.

The event is free, and all youths and young adults from Orangeburg and the surrounding areas are invited. For more information, call Low Country Healthy Start at 1-888-581-0319.
