Doll and bear show Saturday in Santee

SANTEE -- The annual Southeastern Doll and Bear Show and Sale will return to Santee on Saturday, July 18, in the Holiday Inn ballroom.

This year's show will feature doll and bear artists and dealers from several states selling antique and modern dolls, furniture, clothes and accessories.

Ralph Parr, known as "The Barbie Man," will have on display his giant collection, covering 40 feet of wall space, five rows high, known as the "Wall of Barbies." Doll and bear brands represented at the show will include Tonner, Vogue, Effanbee, Alexander, Osmond, Gunzel, Himstedt, Kish, Plusczok, DollMaker and Friends, Barbie, Middleton, Steiff, Boyd and more.

The Southeastern Doll and Bear Show and Sale will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, and free for children 12 years of age and under and Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts in uniform. Parking is free.
