LaTonya Evette Peeples of Neeses, S.C. and Jerrold Demonte Prophet of Norway, S.C., proudly announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie (Dean) Peeples. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brodis LeGree of Neeses and the late Mrs. Flossie C. Peeples and Mr. Lucious Peeples, Jr., of Norway.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of the late Mr. Booker T. Tyler of Orangeburg, S.C. and Mrs. Vivian Singleton of Norway. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anell (Delmus) Prophet of Norway and the late Mrs. Bernice Prophet of Norway.

Miss Peeples is a 2004 graduate of South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a 2008 graduate of SCSU with a Masters degree in Transportation. She is currently employed by the Federal Transit Administration in Washington, DC.

Mr. Prophet is a 1995 graduate of Denmark Technical College with a degree in Welding and Machine Tooling. He is currently employed at National Construction Rentals in Upper Marlboro, MD.

The wedding is planned for September 19, 2009, at Bushy Pond Missionary Baptist Church in Norway.
