Lucia Pinckney Rawlinson, D.M.D., of Manning, S.C. and Wesley Adair Covington, Esq., of Norway, S.C., proudly announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Franklin Rawlinson, Jr. of Manning. She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Marion Davis of Manning and the late Dr. and Mrs. William Franklin Rawlinson, Sr., of Manning.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Dantzler Covington, Sr., of Norway. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Warren Livingston of North, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Moore Covington, Jr., of St. Matthews, S.C.

Miss Rawlinson is a 1999 graduate of Laurence Manning Academy in Manning; a 2003 graduate of the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C. and a 2009 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in Charleston. She is currently an Oral Surgery Resident at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Mr. Covington is a 1999 graduate of Edisto High School in Cordova, S.C.; a 2003 graduate of Clemson University in Clemson, S.C. and a 2008 graduate of Charleston School of Law in Charleston. He is currently employed as a Staff Attorney for the South Carolina Association of Counties in Columbia, S.C.

The wedding is planned for June 12, 2010 at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Charleston.
