Mary Elizabeth Adden of St. Matthews, S.C. and Michael Larry Jones of West Columbia, S.C., were united in marriage at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2009, at Buck Ridge Plantation in Neeses, S.C.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Thomas Adden, Sr., of St. Matthews. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Augustus Adden, Jr., of Orangeburg. S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Julian Carson Crum of Orangeburg.

The bridegroom is the son of Reverend and Mrs. H. Larry Jones of Swansea, S.C. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Evalee Driggers of Bamberg, S.C.; the late Mr. Horace Leroy Jones of Bamberg and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Jefferson Sharpe of Salley. S.C.

Officiating the ceremony was Reverend H. Larry Jones.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Maid of honor was Ms. Emily Owings Rourk of Elloree, S.C., friend of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Ms. Mary Caroline Cely of Greenville, S.C., friend of the bride; Ms. Heather Gray Hansberry of Columbia, friend of the bride; Ms. Kerry Leigh Mclver of Raleigh, N.C., friend of the bride; Ms. Kathryn Ellen Rickenbaker of St. Matthews, friend of the bride and Mrs. Anna Marchant Wimberly of Charleston, S.C., cousin of the bride.

Best man was Jeffrey Lee Jones of Columbia, brother of the groom.

Groomsmen were Mr. David Thomas Adden, Jr., of St. Matthews, brother of the bride; Mr. Cale Travis Craft of Swansea, S.C., friend of the groom; Mr. William Edward Gibbs of Columbia, friend of the groom; Mr. Bryan James Martin of Swansea, nephew of the groom and Mr. Russell Legare Ott of Sandy Run, S.C., friend of the groom.

Junior groomsman was Mr. Michael Lyndon Jones of Gaston, S.C., nephew of the groom.

Ushers were Mr. William Darby Hane of Fort Motte, S.C., friend of the groom and Mr. Kevin Fleming Ott of Swansea, friend of the groom.

Flower girl was Miss Mikayla McKenzie Dimery of Pelion, S.C., niece of the groom.

Greeters were Miss Erika Kirstie Eden of Pelion, niece of the groom; Miss Taylor Celeste Eden of Pelion, niece of the groom and Mr. Jeffrey Lawrence Jones of Gaston, S.C., nephew of the groom.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at Buck Ridge Plantation lodge in Neeses.

After a wedding trip to the island of Kauai in Hawaii, the couple will reside in West Columbia.

Mrs. Jones is a 2001 graduate of Calhoun Academy and a 2006 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. She is currently employed as a Technical Account Manager at Zeus Industrial Products in Orangeburg.

Mr. Jones is a 1997 graduate of Swansea High School and a 2001 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. He is currently employed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services as an Assistant Bureau Chief.
