Voorhees to develop branding campaign
Sunday, August 30, 2009DENMARK, S.C. — Voorhees College selected ADCO, a Columbia-based strategy, design and interactive agency, to develop a brand campaign and communications plan as the college moves to expand.
The 112-year old historically black college is developing a long-term plan to enhance and grow its facilities, introduce new majors, and double enrollment.
Vorhees President Dr. Cleveland L. Sellers, Jr. said the project is designed to continue the college’s mission to provide a “quality education.”
“As Voorhees moves in a new direction, we look forward to working with ADCO in developing a new look and feel for our institution,” Sellers said. “We are confident that this branding initiative will be exciting for faculty, staff, students and alumni.”
For nearly 20 years, ADCO has worked with companies and organizations to establish brands.
The company will work with the Voorhees leadership team to develop a campaign to communicate the legacy and value of the college.
