Reinell Antionette Tho-mas of Orangeburg, S.C. and Jerome Allen Myers of Charlotte, N.C., proudly announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mrs. Evia Z. Thomas of Orangeburg and Mr. Reynold Thomas of Orangeburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry (Coria) Zimmerman of Orangeburg and the late Mrs. Ruth T. Reynolds of Philadelphia, PA.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mrs. Rosa Bell (Moses) Myers Nelson of Orangeburg and the late Mr. Rheuben Myers, Sr., of Orangeburg. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hamon (Hattie Mae) Thomas of Cope, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Mellie (Hattie) Myers of North, S.C.

Miss Thomas is a graduate of Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School; earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from South Carolina State University and will receive a Masters of Arts Degree in Technology Education from Lesley University in November 2009. She is currently employed by South Carolina State University.

Mr. Myers is a graduate of Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School and earned a Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte. He is currently employed by the Charlotte Correctional Center in Charlotte.

The wedding is planned for Thursday, December 31, 2009, at The James and Dorothy Z. Elmore Chapel, Claflin University, Orangeburg.
