Calhoun County 13, Estill 6

ESTILL -- The Saints (4-0) got an 80-plus yard kickoff return for a touchdown from Brandon Golson and a 20-yard touchdown run from quarterback Brandon Thomas to get the win.

Estill falls to 0-4.

H-K-T 54, Ridge Spring-Monetta 16

NEESES -- Montaurus Gleaton was 20 of 30 passing for 400 yards and four touchdowns and added a 55-yard rushing touchdown to lead H-K-T to the win.

Troy Jones was Gleaton’s main target, hauling in eight passes for 150 yars and a touchdown. Jones also returned a punt 70 yards for a touchdown. Trojans’ receiver Schawn Jamison had five catches for 120 yards and two touchdowns; D’twane Fulmer had five catches for 90 yards and a touchdown.

On defense, Henri Peeples led the Trojans with 14 tackles, four for loss. DeAngelo Robinson returned a fumble 50 yards for a score.

Pinewood Prep 24, Orangeburg Prep 10

SUMMERVILLE -- Michael Schriver scored on a 4-yard touchdown in the first half and Evan Salley kicked a 30-yard field goal, but that was all the points OPS could come up with in the loss.

Ronnie Goodwin and Thacker Staley were credited with putting together good games on defense; Sean Odom was credited with a good game on offense.

Allendale-Fairfax 47, Bethune-Bowman 6

FAIRFAX — Bashaud Breeland carried two times for 113 yards and two touchdowns on offense, nabbed two interceptions on defense and ran them both back for scores in the win.

Tyrone Fairey rushed 15 times for 68 yards in a losing effort. Ashton Robinson added 87 yards on 14 carries.

Nick Jones scored the lone touchdown for the Mohawks with a 1-yard touchdown run but was just 4 of 12 passing for 48 yards and two interceptions.

Nkosi Hollman led the Mohawks with three catches for 36 yards.

On defense, Chris Willis recorded nine tackles while Josh Matthews pitched in with six tackles. Allendale-Fairfax remains undefeated at 4-0, while Bethune-Bowman falls to 2-2 overall, 1-1 in the region. The Mohawks host Denmark-Olar next week.

Holly Hill Academy 49, Cathedral 14

HOLLY HILL — John Flynn led the way with 10 carries for 58 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.

Tyler James led all receivers with three receptions for 63 yards. Stephen Eaddy scored twice for the Raiders, once on a 76-yard kickoff return and the other on a 2-yard run.

Defensively, HHA’s Noah Lewis notched six tackles to lead the team, while Ron Sweatman recorded an interception.

Holly Hill Academy improves to 3-2 overall, 2-0 in the region. The Raiders head to Charleston next week to take on Charleston Collegiate.

Wardlaw Academy 46, Andrew Jackson 6

ERHRHARDT -- Justin Long rushed 29 times for 148 yards and a score in the loss.

Nick Martin added 11 carries for 32 yards and Austin Martin pitched in with four carries for 15 yards. A.J. Elkins led the Vols in receiving with three catches for 62 yards.

On defense, Elkins recorded five tackles, two assists and an interception. Sam Clayton had five tackles and one assist, while Nick Martin chipped in with four tackles and an assist.

Andrew Jackson falls to 2-2 overall, 0-1 in region play. Next week they travel to Hardeeville for a bout with Abundant Life.

Blackville-Hilda 48, Wagener-Salley 14

WAGENER — Ronnie Thomas led the Hawks rushing attack with seven carries for 78 yards and three touchdowns.

Desmond Armstrong also had a solid performance with nine rushes for 49 yards and two scores.

In a losing effort, Bruce Corley carried 10 times for 84 yards and one touchdown. Ricky Dicks added a touchdown run of his own.

Defensively, Desmond Jenkins had a 62-yard interception return for touchdown in the win.

Blackville-Hilda moves to 3-1 overall, 1-0 in the region. They travel to North next week to take on the Eagles.
