Amber Nicole Summers and George John Leedecke, both of Cameron, S.C., were united in marriage at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Cameron Baptist Church in Cameron.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wayne Frick, Jr. of Orangeburg, S.C. and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Snelson Summers, Jr., of Cameron. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Earl Thompson of Swansea, S.C.; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Snelson Summers, Sr., of Cameron and the late Mr. Ralph Reeder.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Lewis Leedecke of Orangeburg. He is the grandson of Mrs. Bertha Cole of Georgetown, S.C.; Mrs. Elinor B. Leedecke of Orangeburg; the late Mr. John Raymond Uptegrove and the late Mr. George John Leedecke.

Officiating minister was Reverend Larry Williams.

Maid of honor was Miss Taylor Sierra Summers of Orangeburg, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Mrs. Brandy S. Fairey of Orangeburg, sister of the bride and Mrs. Haley T. Kizer of Cameron, sister of the bride.

Junior bridesmaids were Miss Clare Summers Wannamaker of Cameron, cousin of the bride and Miss Samantha Jane Leedecke of Orangeburg, cousin of the groom.

The groom’s father served as best man.

Groomsmen were Mr. Paul Roger Leedecke of Orangeburg, uncle of the groom; Mr. Andrew Paul Junquet of Orangeburg, cousin of the groom and Mr. Daniel Joseph Junquet of Orangeburg, cousin of the groom.

Ushers were Mr. David Wayne Summers, Jr., of Cameron, Mr. Steven Scott Summers of Cameron, Mr. Michael Wade Summers, Jr., of Cameron, Mr. Christopher Ryan Summers of Cameron and Mr. Russell Thomas Wannamaker of Cameron, all cousins of the bride.

Flower girls were Miss Shields Fair Fairey of Orangeburg, niece of the bride and Miss Elizabeth Craft Frick of Cameron, step-sister of the bride.

Ring bearer was Mr. Phillip William Kizer, Jr., of Cameron, nephew of the bride.

Program attendant was Mr. Jerry Wayne Frick, III, of Cameron, step-brother of the bride.

Organist was Mrs. Sarah Walling and soloist was Mr. Heath Blyther.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at The Elk’s Lodge in Orangeburg.

After a wedding trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the couple will reside in Cameron.

Mrs. Leedecke is a 2006 graduate of Calhoun Academy in St. Matthews, S.C. and a 2008 graduate of Esthetics International in Columbia, S.C. She is currently employed at Orangeburg Preparatory School Child Development Center.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Calhoun Academy in St. Matthews. He is currently employed by Cox Wood Preserving in Orangeburg.
