Stephanie Nicole Goff of Aiken, S.C. and Mark Emory Phillips of Orangeburg, S.C., were united in marriage at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Buck Ridge Plantation in Neeses, S.C.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Lavon Goff of Aiken. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Goff of Charleston, S.C. and Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Taylor of Charleston.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ivan Phillips of Orangeburg. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Markiewicz of Orangeburg and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Earl Phillips of Springfield, S.C.

Officiating the ceremony was Reverend Danny Burleson.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Maid of honor was Laura Maxwell of Rock Hill, S.C., friend of the bride.

Matron of honor was Angela Goff Farr of Aiken, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Allison Phillips of Columbia, S.C., sister of the groom; Brittany Goff of Charlotte, N.C., cousin of the bride; Holly Hester of Summerville, S.C., cousin of the bride; Gretchen Anonick of Aurora, IL, friend of the bride; Augusta Jones of Atlanta, GA, friend of the bride and Marci Hayes of Aiken, friend of the bride.

Honorary bridesmaid was Hannah Maxwell, of Aiken, friend of the bride.

The groom’s father served as best man.

Groomsmen were Mitchell Phillips of Orangeburg, brother of the groom; Ryan Phillips of Charleston, S.C., cousin of the groom; Ashley Farr of Aiken, brother-in-law of the bride; Travis Reed of Lexington, S.C., friend of the groom; Drew Evans of Cameron, S.C., friend of the groom; Greg Wiles of Orangeburg, friend of the groom and Dusty Dukes of Charleston, friend of the groom.

Flower girls were Johanna Wolfe of Orangeburg, cousin of the groom and Marissa Brewer of Aiken, friend of the bride.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at Buck Ridge Plantation.

After a wedding trip to Palm Coast, Florida, the couple will reside in Cope, S.C.

Mrs. Phillips is a graduate of Clemson University with a BS degree in Civil Engineering.

Mr. Phillips is a graduate of Clemson University with a BS degree in Food Science. He is currently employed at Zeus, Inc.
