Last year’s result — Won by B-E 55-0
BAMBERG — The Eagles soared into Leon Maxwell Stadium riding a three-game winning streak last year when they were routed by the Red Raiders. B-E has won 27 consecutive non-region regular-season games, the last loss coming in 2004 against Wade Hampton.
Blackville-Hilda (3-1, 1-0) at North (1-3)
Last year’s result — Won by B-H 47-13
NORTH — The Hawks have won 18 of the last 19 meetings against the Eagles dating back to 1979. Since scoring 39 points in the season opener, the Eagles have been outscored 114-18. B-H has allowed an average of 11.3 points in its three wins.
Calhoun County (4-0) at Allendale-Fairfax (4-0)
Last year’s result — Won by Calhoun County 40-14
ALLENDALE — The first of three games over the next four weeks between Region 5-A’s three lone undefeated teams, Calhoun County, Bamberg-Ehrhardt and Allendale-Fairfax. An intriguing matchup pits senior quarterback Bashaud Breeland, who’s rushed for over 100 yards in each of his first four games, going against a Saints’ defense where lineman Brandon Golston has 14 sacks on the season.
Denmark-Olar (0-4) at Bethune-Bowman (2-2, 0-1)
Last year’s result — Won by D-O 7-6
ROWESVILLE — The Vikings have been outscored 166-40 in their last five losses dating back to last season. It’s been an up and down 2009 for the Mohawks, who dropped a 47-6 loss in their Region 5-A opener to Allendale-Fairfax.
Lake Marion (0-4) at Edisto (1-3)
Last year’s result — Won by Edisto 22-7
CORDOVA — The Gators are seeking to snap an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season. Coming off a bye week, the Cougars will seek to build on a 61-0 rout of Branchville two weeks ago.
Hanahan (2-2) at Woodland (1-3)
Last year’s result — Won by Hanahan 34-30
CHARLESTON — The Wolverines are 0-8 lifetime against the Hawks and are coming off a 78-point shellacking at the hands of nationally-ranked J.F. Byrnes. Hanahan is coming off a 17-0 home loss to Broome, its first shutout loss since 2000, in which they managed just 63 rushing yards and committed five turnovers.

Andrew Jackson (2-2, 2-2) at Abundant Life (4-0)
Last year’s result — Won by AJA 38-18
HARDEEVILLE — Junior running back Justin Long has rushed for 606 yards and six touchdowns in four games this season. The Confederates face a Cougars’ team which has averaged 43 points a game this season.
Pee Dee Academy (1-3) at Calhoun Academy (3-1, 1-0)
Last year’s result — Won by CA 24-16
ST. MATTHEWS — Just four days after dropping their first game and seeing teammate Caleb Chappell collapse on the sidelines from dehydration, the Cavaliers resume Region 2-AA play tonight against a Golden Eagles’ team seeking to snap a three-game losing streak.
Dorchester (4-1, 0-1) at Thomas Heyward (1-4, 0-1)
Last year’s result — Won by THA 27-19
RIDGELAND — The Raiders have gotten big production from Orangeburg Touchdown Club Co-Offensive Player of the Week running backs Trevor Davis (51 carries, 427 yards, six TDs; 10 catches, 170 yards, TD) and Thomas McAlhaney (49 carries, 394 yards, 4 TDs) and quarterback Nick McAlhaney (41-70 passing, 794 yards, 8 TDs). After picking up its lone win of the season against Bible Baptist, the Rebels fell 40-7 last week to defending three-time SCISA Class 3-A champion Hammond.
Holly Hill (3-2, 2-0) at Charleston Collegiate (1-3, 1-2)
Last year’s result — Won by HHA 26-20
CHARLESTON — The Raiders are seeking back-to-back wins for the first time this season against a Sun Devils’ team which picked up its first win of the season last week in a 36-0 shutout of Coastal Christian.
Trinity Collegiate (1-2, 1-2) at Jefferson Davis (2-2, 1-2)
The two teams did not meet last season.
BLACKVILLE — The Raiders had their two-game winning streak snapped by Patrick Henry 42-28 and face a Titans’ team which picked up their first varsity win 28-0 over Beaufort Academy last week.
Orangeburg Prep’s game against Laurence Manning Academy has been rescheduled to Monday at 7 p.m. due to a rash of school illnesses.
