Amanda Hope Grogan and Jason Robert Corbett, both of Cope, S.C., were united in marriage on Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Union United Methodist Church in Cope.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allan (Mary Claire) Grogan of Cope. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hollis C. (Mary Hope) Traxler of Cope and the late Mr. and Mrs. James C. (Evalee) Grogan of Rock Hill, S.C.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. Robert Corbett of Cope and the late Mrs. Wanda Corbett. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin (Betty) Edgemont of Cordova, S.C. and the late Rev. and Mrs. Lynn (Hazel) Corbett of Orangeburg, S.C.

Officiating the ceremony was Rev. Fred McDaniel.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Matrons of honor were Mrs. Robin Smith of Cope, cousin of the bride and Mrs. Jennifer Williams of Cope, friend of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jennifer Buyna of Cornelius, N.C., friend of the bride; Mrs. Michelle Felkel of Elloree, S.C., sister of the groom; Miss. Vickie Kilgus of Orangeburg, friend of the bride and Mrs. Diana Smith of Orangeburg, cousin of the bride.

Junior bridesmaid was Miss Tori Smith of Cope, cousin of the bride.

Father of the groom served as best man.

Groomsmen were Mr. Nick Felkel of Elloree, brother-in-law of the groom; Mr. Kyle Grogan of Summerville, S.C., brother of the bride; Mr. Ben Hopkins of Orangeburg, friend of the groom; Mr. Philip Smith of Cope, cousin of the bride; Mr. Daniel Smith of Orangeburg, cousin of the bride and Mr. J.W. Williams of Cope, friend of the groom.

Junior groomsman was Mr. Zachary Felkel of Elloree, nephew of the groom.

Flower girls were Miss Lily Felkel of Elloree, niece of the groom and Miss Abigail Grogan of Summerville, niece of the bride.

Ring bearers were Mr. Jacob Smith of Cope, cousin of the bride and Mr. James Smith of Cope, cousin of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Liberty Room in Orangeburg.

After a wedding trip to The French Quarter Resort at Disney World in Orlando, FL, the couple will reside in Cope.

Mrs. Corbett is a 1998 Graduate of Rock Hill High. She is currently employed at Bamberg Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinary Tech.

Mr. Corbett is a 2001 Graduate of Orangeburg Christian Academy. He is currently employed as an Alarm System Tech with Orangeburg Security Systems.
