Negrycz - Evans
Sunday, October 04, 2009Jaime Chrystyn Negrycz and Andrew Charles Evans, both of Columbia, S.C., were united in marriage at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2009, on the rooftop of the Harbour Club, Charleston, S.C., immediately following the ceremony a reception was held at the Harbour Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Patricia E. Manley of Suffern, NY and the late Mr. Bruce C. Negrycz of Monroe, NY. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Negrycz of Clifton, NJ and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Borkowicz of Chicago, IL.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James T. (Sarah) Shaffer of Orangeburg, S.C. and Mr. Randall Evans of Landing, NJ. He is the grandson of Mrs. E. F. Williamson of Orangeburg and the late Mr. Robert D. Williamson of Upper Montclair, NJ and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Evans of Cedar Grove, NJ.
Officiating the ceremony was Reverend Jennifer Norcross.
Maid of honor was Dell Goodrich of Columbia, friend of bride.
Bridesmaids were Melissa Ligon of Columbia, friend of the bride; Melissa Harper of Columbia, friend of the bride and Sonya Dunn of Columbia, friend of the bride.
Groomsmen were R. Garrett Evans of Broxton, GA, brother of the groom; David Irick of Columbia, friend of the groom; Michael Riefsnyder of Lexington, S.C., friend of the groom and Kevin Pettit of W. Columbia, S.C., friend of the groom.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Harbour Club in Charleston.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Columbia.
Mrs. Evans attended The School of Visual Arts for Illustration and Cartooning in New York City. She is currently employed as a vice president at First Savers Bank in Columbia.
Mr. Evans received his degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina. He is currently employed by The Adams Group in Columbia, as a Copywriter.
