BISHOPVILLE – OPS suffered their first loss of the season falling to Robert E. Lee 25-17, 29-27.

Tiffany Ferguson led the Lady Indians in the loss with eight points and four aces.

Orangeburg Prep (13-1) will travel to Holly Hill Academy at 5 p.m.

City of Parks and Recreation

Youth Winter Basketball Now Open

Winter basketball registration will be held at the Parks & Recreation Department office at 367 Green Street until October 23. Children ages 8-17 are eligible to play. The registration fee is $45 with a $25 discount for City of Orangeburg residents providing valid proof of residency.

City of Orangeburg Parks and Recreation to hold Senior Games

The Orangeburg Senior Games, open to persons ages 50 and up, will be held at the Hillcrest Recreation Complex and the Orangeburg County Council on Aging Tuesday & Thursday, October 13 & 15. Registration entitles the participant to take part in all activities. The registration fee is $10, which includes a t-shirt while supplies last. Activities include Cake Walks, Softball Throw, Basketball Free Throw, Disc Golf, Bingo, and many more. Call 533-6020 for a registration form.

O.A.R.C. to hold golf tournament

The Orangeburg Area Resource Center Foundation will hold their 15th annual Golf Classic on October 29 at Hillcrest at noon.

All proceeds from the even will benefit the Orangeburg Area Resource Center Foundation.
