Varsity Volleyball
OPS 3, LMA 0
The Orangeburg Prep varsity volleyball team defeated Laurence Manning 27-25, 25-7 and 25-13 on Tuesday.
Brandi McRae had nine aces and nine kills; Salley Covington had five aces and four kills, Kayla Mims had 13 kills and Annie Westlund had 22 assists, four aces and three kills for the Lady Indians (16-3, 5-2).
HHA 3, SJCA 0
HOLLY HILL - The Holly Hill Academy varsity volleyball team defeated St. John’s Christian Academy 25-18, 25-12, 25-17 on Tuesday.
Leading the Lady Raiders (19-1, 11-0) were Wehme Caroline Hutto with 15 digs, 12 kills and 10 aces; Emily Watkins with 14 digs and seven kills, Sara Shuler had nine kills and three digs, Chelsea Nester with seven aces, three kills and three digs and Katlin Rush with 26 assists, six digs and five aces.
Aiken 3, O-W 0
AIKEN - The Orangeburg-Wilkinson volleyball team dropped to 6-11 on the season after losing to Aiken 25-9, 25-9, 25-12.
Breneshia Green had 10 digs, Ashley Lee had five kills and three service points and Kayla Wright had seven service points and eight assists to lead the Bruinettes.
Bishop England 3, Woodland 0
CHARLESTON - Woodland was defeated by Bishop England 25-12, 25-12, 25-15 in a Region 7-AA match on Tuesday. The Lady Wolverines (5-10) play host to Garrett Tech on Thursday.
Branchville 2, B-E 0 (Game One)
Branchville 2, CC 0 (Game Two)
BRANCHVILLE -- Branchville defeated Bamberg-Ehrhardt 25-7, 25-12 and Calhoun County 25-19, 25-20 in a tri-match Tuesday.
Against B-E, Miranda Nichols led Branchville with 10 points and five aces, and Kaitlin Felder had three kill and a block. Brooke Easterling led Branchville against CC with 10 points and four aces. Felder had eight kills.
Branchville (16-5, 8-0) takes on CC and Allendale-Fairfax Thursday in St. Matthews.

OPS falls to Wilson Hall
Orangeburg Prep dropped to 12-5 on the season following an 8-2 loss to Wilson Hall on Tuesday.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson lost by scores of 25-19, 25-20.
B-team football
Clark Middle 28, John Ford 14Montrell Shalk scored two touchdowns and Devante Brown and Michael Charles each added a score as Clark Middle School defeated John Ford Middle School 28-14 on Tuesday.
Defensively, Denzel Carson and John Tartell each recorded interceptions.
Clark Middle School (3-2) travel to Timberland on Oct. 20.
Holly Hill-Roberts 16, Scott’s Branch 8
SUMMERTON -- Dontreyvan Jones caught a 15-yard touchdown pass and Alex Brown scored on a 15-yard run to lead HH-R to the win.
Darius James and Jones each scored 2-point conversions for HH-R.
On defense, James had nine tackles; Brown had seven tackles and an interception, Darius Gilliard had eight tackles and Trevon Mack had five tackles.
HH-R (4-1) hosts Manning Tuesday.
