Corinthian (Ethel) Brewer of Charlotte, N.C. and Mark Buskey of New York, NY, were united in marriage at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Calvary Church in Charlotte.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Barbara Kinard Brewer of Orangeburg, S.C. and the late Mr. Marion Brewer. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert L. Kinard, Sr., of Columbia, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Felder of Orangeburg.

The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Geraldine Buskey of Florence, S.C. and the late Mr. Winnard Buskey. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hilliard Buskey of Orangeburg.

Pastor Phi Divine of Calvary Church in Charlotte officiated the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Mr. Phillip Nivens.

Maid of honor was Ms. Brittany Nivens, daughter of the bride.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Baretta Wilson, sister of the bride.

The couple will reside in Charlotte.
