Last year’s result - Won by Estill 14-9
ESTILL - The Red Raiders look to rebound from a tough 28-21 loss to Allendale-Fairfax which created a three-way tie for first place in Region 5-A. The Wild Gators, who have only won 2 of the 16 meetings against B-E, could create another such deadlock with a win, setting up a potential season-ending showdown at home against Allendale-Fairfax with region title implications.
Branchville (1-7, 0-4) at Denmark-Olar (0-8, 0-4)
Last year’s result - Won by D-O 52-7
DENMARK - The Vikings have two more opportunities at avoiding the school’s second winless season since 2006 and third in school history. The Yellow Jackets also have two games left to pick up their first region victory since 1988.
Bethune-Bowman (3-5, 1-3) at Calhoun County (7-1, 4-1)
Last year’s result - Won by Calhoun County 47-0
ST. MATTHEWS - The Mohawks have been outscored 74-14 in their last three losses and need to win their next two games to have any post-season shot. The Saints have outscored their last two opponents 89-0 and could clinch the Region 5-A title with a win and a B-E victory based on the second tiebreaker.
Wade Hampton (2-6, 1-2) at Edisto (3-5, 2-1)
Last year’s result - Won by Edisto 35-13
CORDOVA - There’s new life in Cougartown as the football team as forfeits by Barnwell now has Edisto in position to earn a first-round home playoff game if it sweeps the last two games. It starts with a Red Devils’ team which has dropped five straight games, but has won three of the last four meetings against the Cougars.
Hunter-Kinard-Tyler (6-2, 4-1) at Fox Creek (1-7, 1-4)
NORTH AUGUSTA - The Trojans are 3-0 lifetime against the Predators, having outscored them 82-19. Another victory would give H-K-T its most victories since the 2002 season and leave it two victories shy of the school record.
Stall (2-6, 0-3) at Lake Marion (2-6, 1-2)
Last year’s result - Won by Stall 32-22
SANTEE - Just two weeks ago, the Gators needed a victory to clinch a playoff berth. Now they find themselves needing that elusive win just to set up a season-ending matchup at Battery Creek for the final playoff berth out of Region 8-AAA.
North (2-6, 1-4) at Ridge Spring-Monetta (1-7, 1-4)
Last year’s result - Won by RS-M 20-6
RIDGE SPRINGS - A pair of Region 4-A teams playing for pride in the final two games. The Trojans picked up their first win last win in defeating Wagener-Salley 35-20, while the Eagles have given up an average of 50.5 points in their four region losses.

Last year’s result - Won by Aiken 35-7

The Bruins have given up an average of close to 47 points during their four-game losing streak, while the Green Hornets have allowed an average of 41.5 points per game during a six-game skid. Aiken has won eight of the last nine meetings and holds a 17-6 edge in the series.
Cane Bay (4-4, 3-0) at Woodland (3-5, 2-1)
Last year’s result - Won by Woodland 40-0
BYRDS - The Wolverines have seemingly found a running game in time to make a post-season push. Nagui Wright scored four times and rushed for 140 yards in last week’s 40-14 win over Bishop England. The Cobras got 120 rushing yards and two touchdowns from Anthony Enos in a 44-14 win over Garrett Tech despite missing several players due to what Berkeley County school officials called an ‘internal pregame incident’.
SCISA
Patrick Henry (4-5, 1-1) at Andrew Jackson Academy (3-5, 0-1)
Last year’s result - Won by AJA 74-44
EHRHARDT - The Confederates need a victory to have a chance at playing host to a first-round 8-man semifinal game. The Patriots have won three straight, averaging 43.3 points per contest.

Pee Dee Academy (3-5, 2-1) at Dorchester Academy (7-1, 2-1)
Last year’s result - Won by Pee Dee Academy 14-7
ST. GEORGE - A share of first place in SCISA Region 2-AA is on the line tonight in a matchup between the Raiders and Eagles. Even by winning its last two games, Dorchester Academy would need a Thomas Sumter Academy loss to win the region.
W.W. King Academy (5-4, 3-2) at Holly Hill Academy (6-3, 5-1)
The two teams did not meet last season.
HOLLY HILL - The Raiders had their five-game winning streak snapped last week against SCISA Region 2-A front-runner St. John’s Christian Academy. They now head into non-region play against a Knights’ team which has experienced an up-and-down season with an opening win, followed by two straight losses, then four consecutive wins and last week’s 30-29 heartbreaker to The Byrnes School.
Jefferson Davis Academy (4-4, 0-2) at Calhoun Falls Charter (4-4)
First-ever meeting between two schools
CALHOUN FALLS - The Raiders step out of region following a 56-0 win over Beaufort Academy to face a Blue Flashes’ team which defeated Andrew Jackson Academy 36-6.
