BYRDS — Nagui Wright rushed seven times for 88 yards and five touchdowns in the win.

In addition, Wright also returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown.

Martin Connelly was 18-of-28 passing for 235 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.

Woodland moves to 4-5 and travels to Ashley Ridge next week.

Aiken 28, Orangeburg-Wilkinson 27

AIKEN -- Kintrell Disher had two touchdown receptions and scored on a 2-point conversion for the Bruins in the loss.

Dorchester Academy 38, Pee Dee Academy 6

ST. GEORGE - Nick McAlhany’s three passing touchdown lifted the Raiders to a Homecoming victory over Pee Dee.

McAlhany was 5-of-8 passing for 215 yards in the win. Trevor Davis came away with 11 carries for 139 yards and a rushing touchdown. Jamie Collins totaled 154 yards and two touchdowns on three receptions.

Defensively, Michael Gruber led the way with 10 tackles. Ethan Bair tallied four tackles while Davis recorded two tackles and an interception.

Dorchester Academy (8-1) finishes up regular season play at Florence Christian.

Hunter-Kinard-Tyler 52, Fox Creek 27

NORTH AUGUSTA -- Montaurus Gleaton was 20-of-25 passing for 565 yards in the victory for H-K-T.

Troy Jones had 10 catches for 226 yards and D’twane Fulmer had 12 catches for 265 yards for H-K-T. Each scored two tocuhdowns. Reggie Edwards also had a receiving touchdown. Darren Stroman had a rushing touchdown.

On defense, Sharod Jamison had two interceptions; Marcus Creech had 10 tackles and two sacks and William Bonds had 15 tackles.

W.W. King 20, Holly Hill 19

MT. PLEASANT — Travis Spence carried 19 times for 120 yards and one touchdown in a losing effort.

Zack Lawley was 8-of-18 passing for 85 yards and two touchdowns, one to Spence and the other to Elias Dupree.

Defensively, Justin Brownlee had 11 tackles and Ethan Shelley had eight.

The Raiders (6-4, 5-1) meet Palmetto Christian Academy next week.

Calhoun Academy 36, Robert E. Lee 23

BISHOPVILLE — Jamie Sanders had a monster game for the Cavaliers, rushing for 221 yards and three touchdowns on just eight carries in the win.

Bryan Love carried 15 times for 91 yards and one score.

Quarterback Jordan Rucker was 2 of 7 passing for 81 yards and a touchdown.

Matt Avant caught two passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. On defense, Caleb Chappell led the way with 13 tackles, while Jamie Sanders pitched in with 10.

Jeff Grubbs recorded two interceptions.

Calhoun Academy (4-5, 2-2) hosts Thomas Sumter next week.

Edisto 45, Wade Hampton 20

HAMPTON — The Cougars scored 27 unanswered points after trailing 20-18 at the half to earn their fourth victory of the season.

Edisto totaled 414 yards of offense and was led by Malik Brown with 14 carries for 150 yards and two touchdowns. He also added an 85-yard touchdown reception along with 12 tackles on defense, including a 40-yard fumble return for a touchdown.

DeShawn Stevenson added five rushes for 54 yards and a score. Ruben Thomas had 120 yards passing with one touchdown and a 40-yard touchdown reception from Tyler Davis. Corey Pitts was 3-of-4 on PATs and booted a 30-yard field goal for the Cougars.

On defense, Demariuss Wolfe had 11 tackles, while Devante Rasberry added nine tackles. Matt Darby and DeShawn Stevenson each had eight tackles.

Steven Butler nabbed an interception for the Cougars.

Edisto (4-5, 3-1) hosts Ridgeland on senior night next week.

Lake Marion 28, Stall 18

SANTEE — Chris Jenkins put on a show with 400 total yards of offense and four touchdowns in the victory.

Jenkins was 14-of-18 for 140 yards and two touchdowns through the air, while carrying 17 times for 260 yards with two more scores.

Nic Ravenell added 50 yards on seven rushes. Monty Hilliard had five catches for 45 yards and a touchdown. Todd Keitt caught five passes for 78 yards and a score.

Defensively, Tyshawn Washington led the way with 10 tackles and three assists. Donte Lamar added nine tackles and three assists, while Craig Miller and Tyrone Aiken pitched in with eight and six tackles respectively.

The Gators jump to 3-6 on the season and hosts Battery Creek next week.
