 Bethune-Bowman 32, Branchville 14

BRANCHVILLE — Tyrone Fairey carried 15 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Octavious Council added nine carries for 75 yards, while Bernard Mack chipped in with a 40-yard touchdown run.

Quarterback Juwan Willis was 2 of 4 passing for 75 yards with one score and added a 1-yard touchdown run.

Andrew Williams had two receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Jayshaun Johnson led the way with 12 tackles and Fabian Williams pitched in with eight tackles. The Mohawks finish the season at 4-6 overall (2-4 in region 5-A).

Andrew Jackson Academy 28, Jefferson Davis 22

BLACKVILLE — Justin Long finished 18 of 30 for 274 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in the victory. He also added 64 yards rushing.

A.J. Elkins hauled in 11 passes for 185 yards and three touchdowns. On defense, Matt Beard had nine tackles, while D.B. Stroman and Nick Martin added seven tackles each.

Palmetto Christian 36, Holly Hill 28

MT. PLEASANT — Travis Spence rushed for 127 yards and had a 27-yard touchdown reception in the losing effort.

Zack Lawley was 5 of 14 passing for 120 yards with one touchdown and added a 3-yard touchdown run.

John Flynn pitched in with two 1-yard touchdown runs.

Ethan Shelley paced the defense with eight tackles, while Stephen Eaddy and Ron Sweatman both recorded interceptions.

HHA (6-5) goes to Dillon Christian to open the playoffs Friday.

North 54, Wagener-Salley 50

WAGENER — Freddie Martino torched the War Eagles for 101 yards passing with one touchdown and 255 yards rushing with four touchdowns.

Devonte James had 101 receiving yards and 80 return yards with two touchdowns. Greg Davis added 70 yards rushing with one score and sealed the victory with an interception to close the game.

The North Eagles finish the year at 3-7 overall.

Woodland 47, Ashley Ridge 27

SUMMERVILLE — Nagui Wright carried 11 times for 103 yards and three total touchdowns in the win.

Woodland had 146 yards rushing and 349 yards passing, totaling 495 yards of offense.

Hunter Kinard-Tyler 30, C.A. Johnson 14COLUMBIA — Montaurus Gleaton led the charge with 325 yards passing and one score.

D’twane Fulmer led all receivers with seven catches for 102 yards. Denzel James and Darren Stroman each tacked on rushing touchdowns.

Defensively, Randy Brunson had 10 tackles, four sacks and one fumble recovery. Will Barnes added 10 tackles, while Reggie Edwards recorded an interception. The Trojans finish the season at 8-2 overall (6-1 in region 4-A).

Calhoun County 24, Cross 13

CROSS — Shamier Jeffrey filled up the stats sheet, going 20 of 30 through the air for 251 yards and one score, hauling in two catches for 58 yards and two touchdowns, and rushing three times for 41 yards, in the win.

Brandon Thomas was 3 of 3 passing for 72 yards with two touchdowns and four receptions for 65 yards. Mark Irick caught seven passes for 99 yards and one touchdown.

On defense, Brandon Golson had 11 tackles and three sacks. Antwane Whitmore and Jaquan Darby each had 10 tackles, while DJ Watson added seven tackles and one interception.

Calhoun County captures the region crown after finishing the regular season 9-1.

Ben Lippen 20, Orangeburg Prep 19

COLUMBIA — Quarterback Cap Thackston was 10 of 21 for 148 yards and one touchdown in the loss.

Walker Smith carried 31 times for 122 yards. Quarterback Joey Carter finished 11 of 22 for 159 yards and two touchdowns. Orangeburg Prep ends the year at 2-8, missing the playoffs.
