Gartman - Martinez
Sunday, November 01, 2009Tricia Faye Gartman and Joshua David Martinez, both of North, S.C., were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2009, at Wintergreen Woods in Lexington, S.C.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay (Rhonda) Gartman of North. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darrel (Shirley) Fanning of Neeses, S.C.; Mr. and Mrs. Donald (Irene) Derrick of Leesville, S.C. and Ms. Barbara Gartman of North.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray (Deborah) Tittle, Jr., of Pelion, S.C. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dave (Doris) Puderbaugh of Glen Burnie, MD and Mr. and Mrs. Ray (Frances) Tittle, Sr., of North.
Pastor Brett Gardener officiated the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Miss Crystal Gartman of Moncks Corner, S.C., sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Natalie Hinkle of Neeses, cousin of the bride and Miss Ashley Tittle of Pelion, sister of the groom.
Best man was brother of the groom, Ray Tittle, III, of Pelion.
Groomsmen were Mr. David Hinkle of Neeses, cousin of the bride and Mr. Brad Martin of Livingston, S.C., friend of the groom.
Ushers were Mr. Cassidy Wise of Moncks Corner, friend of the couple and Mr. Homer Chavis of North, friend of the groom.
Ring bearer was Mr. Chris Williams, Jr., of North, cousin of the groom.
Flower girl was Miss Madison Jumper of North, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at Wintergreen Woods in Lexington.
The couple will reside in North.
Mrs. Martinez is a graduate of North High School with a Cosmetology license and attended Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College. She is currently employed at Famous Hair in West Columbia, S.C.
Mr. Martinez is a graduate of North High School. He is currently employed at Albermarle Corporation in Orangeburg, S.C.
