Setting the record straight on Vietnam

On Nov. 11, I gave a presentation on the Blue/Gold Star Mothers of America. In this talk, I made the statement that 18,000 American soldiers lost their lives in the Vietnam conflict. This is incorrect. Our losses were actually a little over 58,000.
There was no intent to diminish the tremendous effort that our troops made. I know, because I was there.
I sincerely apologize for this error.
