Angelia Nicole Johnson of Denmark, S.C. and Christopher Lee Hughes of Rowesville, S.C., proudly announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mrs. Melanie Johnson of Denmark and the late Mr. Michael Johnson. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Johnson of Summerville, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bonham of Charleston, S.C.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Goodwin of Rowesville and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hughes of Branchville, S.C. He is the grandson of Mrs. Virginia Hughes of Bolentown, S.C. and the late Mr. Legrand Hughes, Sr.; the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Blizzard of N.C. and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Goodwin of Orangeburg, S.C.

The wedding is planned for December 12, 2009, at Two Mile Swamp Baptist Church in Cope, S.C. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
