Hope Holloway and Christopher Shay, both of Orangeburg, S.C., were united in marriage on Saturday, November 21, 2009, at Bethany Baptist Church in Orangeburg.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Kay Joyner of Neeses, S.C. and Mr. Sam Holloway of Orangeburg. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Farr.

The bridegroom is the son of Dr. D.J. Shay and the late Mrs. Patricia Shay. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Shay of Kittanning, PA and Mrs. Irene Lux of Kittanning and the late Mr. Frank Lux.

The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Steve Scott.

Maid of honor was Robin Kirby.

Matron of honor was Jane Moore.

Bridesmaids were Crystol Brown, Catie McClain, Eleni Stilianidis and Eliana Stilianidis.

The groom’s father served as best man.

Groomsmen were Shawn Vargo, Hal Brown, John McClain, Christopher Brown and Hayden Brown.
