It’s more than just a rallying cry for the South Carolina State football team. For every coach and player, the slogan is how the Bulldogs plan to approach another season filled with high expectations from fans and media.

The S.C. State starting defensive line will be an experienced group led by All-MEAC second-team selection Cedric Lloyd (6-5, 225) and fellow ends junior Markus James (6-2, 240) and Xavier Littleberry (6-5, 260).

South Carolina State’s Will Ford and Endor Cooper of Howard earned the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference’s top football preseason awards, as announced by the league. Ford was selected as the preseason Offensive Player of the Year and Cooper was named the Defensive Player of the Year by the MEAC head football coaches and sports information directors.
